Pricing options are used to create price tables and price plans. Price tables are set up with conditions and formulas (spreadsheet pricing) to calculate prices. When price tables are established to calculate prices, they are then attached to price plans. Price plans are created for each third party/Medicaid carrier to determine transmission information. Price plans are also created for each type of cash pricing structure that requires a different price table to be attached. Prescription processing offers the option to perform a full price override or a partial price/quantity override.
Store-wide pricing options are available in Store Control, Store Level Options and include general pricing options, tax percentages and drug cost percentage defaults.
