19.1.49 NRx Enhancements

 

Added a second Free Text section to the Replace Renewal Response hard copy that prints the free text from the Drug segment. Previously a Free Text section only printed when sent in the Response segment of the message.

This enhancement applies to all states except OH, NY, and NJ.

To provide beneficial details for prescriptions accessed in Verification and Quality Assurance in WorkFlow Queues, added the below options to display eRx Annotation popups in Verification and/or Quality Assurance.

• eRx Annotation - Located in Verify New Prescriptions Setup > Display Options section in Store Level and Facility WorkFlow settings. Default = Unchecked.

• eRx Annotation - Located in Quality Assurance Checking Setup > Display Options. Default = Unchecked.

Any Rx Alert Notes or Tickler popups precede eRx Annotation popups when applicable.

To alleviate the Stock Expiration Date from being changed any time the date on the Drug Record is updated, updated the Transaction to maintain the Stock Expiration Date from the Date Filled entry.

In compliance with third party requirement to send relationship codes for coupons, added a dropdown, Relationship, to the Patient Coupon Record. Select an option from the dropdown to specify the applicable relationship code.

The need to pull the long drug name on reports exists. Added options Long Drug Name 0 - 50 and Long Drug Name 50 - 100 in the Drug File in reports.

Previously, the Level of Service that updates to the Prescription > Claim Information window was cleared after each fill. In turn, this caused claims to reject after transactions were created from the Fill List, necessitating these codes to be reentered for each fill.

Updated the Claim Information window to maintain Level of Service codes if either 06 or 07 is selected. Codes other than 06 or 07 will continue to be cleared as they were previously.

Previously, in cases of multiple MTM opportunities for a patient, only the first MTM opportunity displayed on the signature capture, then escaped without displaying the remaining opportunities. Updated the system to ensure each opportunity displays.

The following options were added for signature capture.

Added the following to Electronic Signature Options in Store Level Options:

• MPPP Likely to Benefit Notice - Default = Unchecked.

 

Added the following to the signature capture pad:

• Caption: "Patient received a copy of Medicare Likely to Benefit notice". Select OK or Cancel.

Added a window, New User Verification, to include:

• ID - Defaults to the user's ID signed in.
• Please scan Barcode - Scan the two-factor barcode. Once complete, the prescription moves to the next queue in WorkFlow. If Cancel or Esc is selected, the WorkFlow Queue displays and the prescription is marked with "!". If a WorkFlow Record with an "!" indicator is attempted, Additional Identification Required, messages display.

 

Added prompts for the two-factor barcode to be scanned for the following areas/tasks (when two-factor authentication is turned on) Note: Any other prompts i.e. RxFill, Clinical Checking, etc. precede two-factor authentication prompts:

• Rx Intake - After save is selected from the Patient Record > Rx Intake.

• Profiling an Rx (When not using New Order Entry or Verify New Orders) - After Profile Only is selected.

• New Order Entry - Before the order is completed or if the prescription is profiled.

• Verify New Orders, Label and Dispensing, QA, and/or Delivery & Scan to Tote  - Before the order is completed.

• When/if a next step is selected for an order in WorkFlow.

• Fill List > Create Transactions from Fill List - Once Create is selected.

• Cycle Fill > Fill List Prescriptions.

• Assigning a RPh/Tech in InstantFill - After Assign RPh/Tech is selected.
