19.1.46 PrimeCare Enhancements

Previously, only the Procedure code from the Drug Record printed on HME Documentation. Added the following to meet requirements:

Added a Procedure Code field to the Transaction > Additional Information screen to print on HME Documentation. This field is pulled from the Rx Summary and is not editable.

Previously, the Supervising Prescriber's NPI number printed as the NPI for the NP/PA on labels. Added the ability to print the NPI number for the NP/PA. Use new label routine, 815, along with existing label routine 408 to do the following:

• Routine 815 NEW - Prints the NP/PA NPI

• Routine 408 - Prints Supervising Physician's NPI when linked to an NP/PA, as it did previously. If a Supervising Physician is not linked to a NP/PA, the system uses new routine, 815, to print the NP/PA NPI. Also, if a Supervising Prescriber is not linked to an NP/PA, but is chosen via the prescriber's scan when filling a prescription for an NP/PA, the Supervising Prescriber NPI prints along with the NP/PA NPI.

Previously, routines 435 (drug imprint side 1) and 436 (drug imprint side 2) did not print a drug image if a drug had multiple images on file. Added logic to both label routines to print the drug imprint that's chosen as the default image for that drug.

Previously, the Use Quantity Dispensed, in Store Level Options > Additional Rx Request Options > Print Options only applied to printed and faxed Renewal Requests. Updated the option to include electronic Renewal Requests. If option is selected, the system uses the Quantity Dispensed whether printing, faxing, or electronically sending a Renewal Request. If option in unchecked, the system uses the Quantity Authorized whether printing, faxing, or electronically sending a Renewal Request.

Some ADT interfaces do not include the PV1-20 field that transmits the c-account. A blank in this field caused the patient Auto Post option to automatically change to Do Not Automatically Charge Prescriptions. Updated the system to retain it's Auto Post setting whether any field is blank when transmitted.

Previously, only the first SIG of a multi-SIG printed on the enhanced PEM. For ease-of-use and regulatory purposes, updated enhanced PEMs to print up to five SIGs, up to 200 characters each. If the Store Level Option is set to deidentify the SIG, then X's will continue to print for each SIG. These changes apply to all SIG formats 0, 1, 2, and 3.

So that your store may choose to receive price updates on all drugs, including high dollar AWP updates for specialty drugs, the following was added:

New Option: Allow High Dollar AWP Update - Store Level Options > Fastclaim. Default = Unchecked. If selected, the request to receive high dollar AWP updates will be included in claim responses.

Previously Rx Renewal Responses that were processed, discontinued/reassigned, and profiled, were not retaining any eRx annotations. The eRx sidebar would indicate there was an annotation. However, they were not accessible via the appropriate links, or by printing the hard copy. This issue did not occur for items that were not profiled. Updated the system to ensure that annotations are properly retained.

Added the following to comply with state PDMP reporting requirements:

Added 5.0 as a Format Print Option for both PM4 and PM7 State Codes.

Added a field, Discount Card, to the Price Plan (including batch) > Additional Information screen. Default = Unchecked. Field is used to indicate if the Price Plan is for a discount card by populating the applicable information in field DSP31 in the new 5.0 format.

Store-Side Manual Reporting

Store side manual reporting includes new and preexisting fields for the new 5.0 format.

Store-Side Manual Reporting, Data Collection, and PowerLine

Updated store-side reporting to format 5.0 for PM7. Updated data collection to 5.0 format. Updated PowerLine real-time reporting to receive real-time reporting in ASAP 5.0 format.

Compliance calls from using the HealthMinder Report can be assigned to the same batch as prescriptions. In some cases, this can lead to incorrect addresses being assigned to a prescription. In prevention of this, added the following to ensure that compliance calls and prescriptions can be separated into their own batches.

Store Level Options > Store Options > System > Automate Batching Options window

Added option, Separate Compliance Calls from Rxs When Batching. Select to prevent any compliance calls from being in a batch with a prescription.

Added option, Use Store Number to Create the Batch Number. Functionality for this option was added in Service Pack 41. If necessary, enabling this store option will use your store number to create the batch number.

Previously, when prescriptions with multi-SIGs printed on the MED-PAK Form (Reports > MED-PAK), only the first SIG's HOA would print. Updated the system to print the HOA for every SIG.

RedSail Cloud Fax enables your pharmacy to receive and view faxes within your pharmacy system via the cloud. Cloud-based faxing and the ability to receive faxes were not previously available through the optional QS1Fax service. To sign up for RedSail Cloud Fax, please contact Upgrades at 800.845.7558, option 2. Client Services can then assist with the install, and can be reached at 800.845.7558, option 1.

To access, select Inbound Fax on the Rx Processing Tasks bar. Note: This is an available option only after RedSail Cloud Fax has been installed.

Changed the title of the Fax Log icon on the Rx Processing Tasks bar to "Outbound Fax" due to this change. To continue using QS1Fax, use this option.

UPS is updating their API to version OAuth 2.0. If you are an existing customer, you may continue to use the previous version until June 2024. If you are a new customer, you will need to use the new version. Made the following updates to accommodate:

• Updated the Web Services Gateway (WSG) to support OAuth 2.0.
• Added the following options to the WSG Provider Options window:
• Token Endpoint URL
• Token Client ID - Can be left blank if you are an existing customer not yet using OAuth 2.0, until June 2024
• Token Secret - Can be left blank if you are an existing customer not yet using OAuth 2.0, until June 2024

The prescriber address is required on prescriptions. Updated the NewRx and RxRenewal hardcopies to print the full prescriber address.

To accommodate better accuracy, increased the Decimal Quantity from eight to ten characters on the Transaction Billing History screen, resulting in up to five places before the decimal and four places after.

In preparation for requirements in Service Pack 47, changed the verbiage at the bottom of the "Employee Email is Missing or Invalid" prompt to indicate the employee email is required in Service Pack 47.
