PointClickCare
The following enhancements provide a way to translate Wing Codes and descriptions so longer descriptions received from HL7 and 10.6 messages may be interchanged with QS/1's shorter Wing Codes.
Records are updated with the Room # and Wing Code when both incoming 10.6 Census messages and incoming HL7 ADT messages are processed.
When RxFill messages are created, the system inserts the Wing Description into the FacilityUnit element of the RxFill message before transmitting if a match is made between the wing characters pulled from the patient's room and the Wing Code entries on the facility's Wing Table.

NarxCare
Integrated the ability to display patient controlled substances/drugs of concern and NarxCare score during the fill process and on the Patient Rx Profile via a link named PMP Analysis. Once logged into Appriss, PrimeCare uses the following to make a match to a customer record at Appriss:

Once matched, a window displays at the top of the screen (either Patient Profile or Prescription) with Analysis Details. Further details are provided for customers that sign up for a premium account with Appriss.

Also, updated the ECS Log Scan and Claim Rejection Detail so rejected claims eligible for a PA Web Request and/or whether a PA Request has been submitted can be easily seen.
Added a checkbox, Automatically Submit Prior Authorization Web Request, to Store Level Options, Prior Authorization Web Services hyperlink. Default = Checked. Keep selected to allow the system to automatically submit a PA Request to CoverMyMeds if the Reject Code received is on the list of Eligible PA Reject Codes. Note: If using automatic submission, PA Requests still display in the Tickler.
Added new codes to the PA Reject Code List. Send a PA Web Request Check from the Claim Rejection Detail screen when any of these codes are returned.
Added two Prior Authorization Identifiers to the ECS Log. When any of the new rejection codes are returned, PA displays to the left of the prescription in the ECS Log. PA displays in black by default. But, if CMM responds with Required Action or Manual Send responses, PA displays in red. Added new screen, Prior Authorization Web Request, accessible from the Claim Rejection Detail screen after the PA Web Request button on the ECS Log is utilized. CMM response messages and actions display on the screen. This new screen displays as opposed to the CMM website. The system sends the PA Request without intervention, regardless of being automatically sent or triggered by the user. Once submitted, the PA Request information displays on the new screen.
DocuTrack® Implementation of Direct Client to Client Communication that Access eRx Messages
Note: Must be authorized for DocuTrack.
Created a direct DocuTrack Client to QS1 VB Client comm connection. When the DocuTrack Client initiates the Load NCPDP Message function, a direct search starts. If a record match is made, the type of message determines how the process proceeds. If a record match is not found, an error displays.
DocuTrack - Modification of the Document Association Process
Note: Must be authorized for DocuTrack.
Updated the Documents button so that when clicked, the system checks for prior associated documents. If there are none, the system reads the DocuTrack defined Document Type and attempts to match it to a Document Description for that type of record. If a match is not made, the document type is saved as a new Document Description for that record. The association must be made to that document with that Document Description. If a match is made, an association needs to be made to that document with that Document Description. If there is no defined Document Type in DocuTrack, the application displays the list of Document Descriptions for that record.
If there are associated documents when the Documents button is clicked, the Documents Available scan displays.
DocuTrack API
Premium API (Application Programming Interface) is automatically available upon download of service pack 20. Click here to view the new fields for the Form Fill-In feature.

The Rx Number displays at the top of the Immunization Record only if it's associated with a Prescription Record. If the Immunization Record does not have an Rx Number attached to it, the RX Number field does not display.
Added a column, Status, to the Immunization Record Scan. Once an Immunization Record is deleted, the system continues to display the deleted record inside the scan and displays a # next to the deleted record in the Status column. Once deleted, an Immunization Item may be highlighted and the system will change the Delete Button to Undelete, and if clicked, the system removes the # sign next to the undeleted immunization Record.
Modified the Rx Summary screen:
Added an Immunization Record button on the vertical toolbar. Click the button to access the Add Immunization Record window. The Date of Immunization field defaults to today's date until it is saved. Once all information is saved on the Immunization Record from the Rx Summary, the Date of Immunization and VIS Presented Date fields are saved, and the system will not update them automatically. If an Immunization Record is saved from the Rx Summary, an Immunization Record is also created on the Patient Chart.
Added the ability to print an Immunization Physician Notice from the Rx Summary screen and the Patient Chart/Immunization Records screen.
From the Rx Summary: Click Print, Physician Notification of Immunization. The option displays if the Immunization Type field on the Immunization window of the Rx Summary is populated. The Immunization Type field determines if the Rx is an immunization or not. When populated, the system displays the Physician Notification of Immunization Option at the end of the Print List from Rx Summary. Once clicked, the Physician Notification of Immunization window displays.
From the Patient Chart/Immunization Record: Highlight the immunization in the scan and click Print, Physician Notification of Immunization. The Physician Notification of Immunization window displ ays. If an Immunization Record is not highlighted and the user clicks print, the Physician Notice option is disabled.
Added the Physician Notification of Immunization window. From this window, a prescriber may be selected from the Prescriber Scan and the option to print or fax the notification is available. Once, the prescriber is selected, the system runs through Print/Fax Checks. If the prescriber does not have a fax number, the system disables the Fax Notice option and automatically checks the Print Notice option. If the prescriber has a fax number, the system keeps the Print Notice option enabled but automatically selects the Fax Notice option.
Modified the following reports:
Modified the Patient Chart report to include Immunization Records. Added new Patient Chart fields: Multiple Birth, Birth Count, Race, and all the Next of Kin items.
Added the RX Number to all immunization-related canned reports.
Modified the Store Level Options, System/Document Management Interface option, if the pharmacy is authorized for QS/1 Document Management (QDM).
Added a Form button to the vertical toolbar on the QDM Options screen. The window displays a grid of Document Types that are currently available. The Document Type Column is static. The only Document Type added to the system is Physician Notification of Immunization. The other columns that display are: Form Template, Queue, Subject and Pend Only.
After all fields are populated in Store Level Options for the Physician Notification of Immunization, the system automatically populates the fields on the Physician Notification of Immunization window. A Form option with a link beside it displays below the Print, Fax Notice options. The link defaults to the Default Form, but a New Form may be selected from the Available Forms list. The Fax Notice Option displays with the Subject Line entered in Store Level Options, but it can be changed. An Additional Comments field also displays. The Pend to Queue option defaults according to the value in Store Level Options. If Pend to Queue is selected, the system will NOT Queue the Fax for Sending, but will instead complete the document and merge it into the Default Queue specified in Store Level Options. When Pend to Queue is selected, the system disables both the Subject and Additional Comments fields.
