Rebuild Patient Profiles

The Rebuild Patient Profiles option is used to re-chain prescription profiles.

Nursing Home Module customers normally run this program after running the Prescription File Purge program. Otherwise, this program would only be indicated following an unexpected break in one or more profiles.

To rebuild patient profiles:

1. Access PrimeCare.
   
2. Click System Utilities. Select Master File Maintenance and click Rebuild Patient Profiles. The following screen displays:
   
   
   
3. There are two options:
   
   Rebuild All Patient Profiles: This program requires a considerable amount of time to run if you have a large Prescription Record File (100,000 records or more).
   
   Rebuild One Patient Profile: Select this option and the system prompts for the Patient Name in the Last Name, First Name Format.
   
4. Select one of the above options and click Next. Follow system prompts to complete the process.
