PrimeCare offers the ability
to capture signatures via a wireless device. Features of this option include:
An Employee Security Access option to control access to the wireless signature capture program.
A Store Level/System/Electronic Signature Option, Require Login After Wireless Signature Capture.
A Windows Client option to control when to execute the wireless Signature Capture application or the regular GUI Client. NOTE: The General tab on this screen was changed to Tablet. When Signature Capture is selected, the login uses the new employee security access flag to determine whether the user is authorized to use the wireless signature capture application.
If the user is not valid, the following message displays: Login process failed for the following reason(s): Invalid user id
If the password is incorrect, the following message displays: Login process failed for the following reason(s): Password is incorrect
If the user is not authorized for a specific store, the following message displays: Login process failed for the following reason(s): User is not authorized at this store
If the user is not authorized for wireless signature capture, the following message displays: Unable to process login: User is not authorized for wireless signature capture
If the store password is incorrect, the following message displays: Login process failed for the following reason(s): Store password is incorrect
A Signature Capture window displays after a successful login. A specific patient can be selected from this scan by name, birth date, phone number or prescription number.
The ability to scan Prescription Transaction and Batch bar codes to search for a patient
A prompt, Hand to Patient, displays in the wireless signature capture application before changing to a prompt that requires patient action. The following prompts require patient action: HIPAA Signature Capture, Patient Counseling, Prescription Log Signature Prompt and Patient Certification.
An End of Signature Capture prompt displays at the end of the process and the display is dependent upon whether the patient or employee last had the tablet.
