The process of generating a report in PrimeCare involves a set of steps referred to as Report Logic. These steps include selecting data, sorting the selected data in a certain order and then printing the report. Review Reports Overview for details on these steps.
This report prints a summary of the number of patients in the facility, patient having psychotropic orders, psychotropic orders within the facility, PRN psychotropic orders, scheduled psychotropic orders and a breakdown of how many patients are in a particular therapeutic class.
Access PrimeCare.
Click Facility Management, Reports, Psychotropic Reports, Drug Utilization Summary.
Complete the Select Options; click Next.
Complete the Sort Options; click Next.
Complete the Print Options; click Finish. The system prints the report.
Use the following definitions to complete the Print Options:
Drug Group - Each Drug Record to print must have a drug group code. Type drug group codes in sequential order for printing. End sequence with * to print orders not selected, blank or otherwise, in the sequence at the end.
Ther Class - Type a maximum of seven therapeutic classes to identify the drugs to print. Do not type a space between the class codes. (Example: 04050607). If this is blank, no forms print. At least one therapeutic class must be listed or type ALL.
Description - Type a description for the report. This replaces the word Psychotropic in the report. If no entry, then Psychotropic prints.
Descrip cont - Continue the description if necessary.
