This option is used to select fill lists to export to Baxter, Automed Dispensing Unit, or Doc-U-Dose.
Access PrimeCare.
Click Facility Management, Fill List Utilities, Fill List Export.
The fill lists processed for all facilities in the Facility/Unit file display in the Scan Fill Lists window.
To select a particular list, refer to the Fill List date range. Press the function key or double-click the line for the list you want to export. Selected lists display in red. To remove a Fill List, press the function key or double-click the line again. Click Next to scroll through he fill lists.
When all lists to export are selected, click Continue. The Selected Fill Lists window displays. This screen displays the group code, the batch number, the name of the facility, the fill list start and stop dates, and the fill lists creation date.
Verify the accuracy of the information displayed.
To create the export list, click Export. The Data Export Select Option screen displays. Complete the Select Options and click Next.
Complete the Sort Options and click Next.
Use the following to complete the Print Options:
Drug ID - Indicates which drug number to place on the export record. Valid entries are:
1 - NDC Number (11 digit)
2 - State drug code
3 - Lot number
4 - NDC number (9 digit)
Sort Option - Indicates order in which records are sorted. Valid entries are:
A (or blank) - Alphabetical order by Patient Code
Andy other entry - Room Number order
Patient ID - Valid entries are:
M - Medical Record Number
P - Patient Code
Output Rx# - Type Y to place the Rx# in positions 41-44 and 23-24 of the Doctor Name field and to place the drug dispensing unit number in positions 20-22 of the Doctor Name field.
Path - Type the DOS path (up to 18 characters) to use to save the file. To export to the hard drive, type the drive letter. To export to a diskette, type the diskette drive letter.
Path (Cont) - Type up to 18 more characters of the path name, if needed.
Note: Many times the path is mapped to a drive on the network that is shared with the packaging machine.
Write to Server - Type YES to export the file to the hard drive or diskette drive on the server. Type NO to export the file to the hard drive or diskette drive on the client.
Export Format - Valid entries are:
1 - Old Automed format
2 - New Automed format
3 - Doc-U-Dose format
4 - Prints a four digit Group Number
4b - Used for various HL7 interfaces
5 - Baxter ATC version based on format 4
6 - PACMED batch export
7 - Talyst batch export
8 - Exports 75 characters of SIG
9 - Used to export PRNs
Doctor# - Indicates which doctor number to place on export record. Valid entries are:
1 - Doctor Universal ID Number
2 - Doctor NPI Number
1 Line w/Total - Type NO if you have a 28 day Fill List being filled four times a day. You will get 28 x 4 records which equals 112. Type YES to get one line with a quantity of 112. Note: This option is applicable when the Export Format option is set to 2.
Use Extra Days - Type YES for the quantity to include the extra fill days from the Facility Control Record. The extra number of days are pulled and added to the quantity. If you have a 29 day Fill List, type NO to get 29 days worth of results.
Use Second SKU - To use the second SKU number
Special Options - Special LOA function used in the Talyst HL7 4 export
Production - Type P for production. Type T for test.
Cassette Qty - Type YES to send the exact (edited) Cassette Qty. Type NO to send the Original Qty.
Soft Pass Tm - Type YES to allow character verbiage such as NOON, BED, etc. Type NO to print in numerical format such as 800, 1200, etc; used for Synmed vendor.
Send RxFill - Type YES to generate electronic RxFill messages.
Click Finish. If you select to write to a diskette, the system displays a prompt to insert a DOS diskette and click OK. If you select to write to the hard drive, the system displays a prompt to click OK to continue.
The export files are built and the number of records placed on the diskette or hard drive displays.
The export file is ready to transfer to the consultant software. Refer to the product documentation for that software for information on loading the file.
