RxChange Requests
Added the following to allow requests to be sent to the prescriber to change a medication.
Added an option, RxChange Request, to the Rx Summary/Print drop-down button. Click to access the new RxChange Request window with reasons to choose for the request.

Note: The Security Access option, Create RxRenewal Request, and Prescriber Record option, RxChange Request, must be selected to use.
Added a button, RxChange , to the Claim Rejection Detail screen. Click to access the RxChange Request window.
Added a button, RxChange , to the NewRx Mail Scan. Click to access the RxChange Request window as well as a dashboard for the NewRx Information. The NewRx displays a status, RxChange Requested.
Added Security Access Flags, Create RxChange Request, Create NewRx Request, and Create RxTransfer Request, under ePrescription Access. Default = Unchecked.
Added new options, RxChange Request and NewRx Request, to the Prescriber Record/Electronic Rx/Service Levels. Default = Unchecked. The options are updated accordingly by clicking Request Info
Updated the system to store electronic information for RxChange Requests and RxChange Responses to the Electronic Information on the Prescription under Access Files.
Bypass New Order for Pharmacists
Added option, RPh Bypass New Order Entry, to Store Options/Workflow Queue Setup. Default = Unchecked. Select to allow the pharmacist to bypass New Order Entry and Verify New Order steps in Workflow. This enables the pharmacist to fill the prescription straight from the Rx Summary Record.
Update All Facilities Security Access Override
Added an option, Update All Facilities, to Security Access/Facility Management. Default = Checked. If checked, the system continues with current functionality. But if unchecked, the current Update All Facilities screen displays, but with the an override option.
If Yes is selected, the system prompts for a user name and password. If verified and the Update All Facilities option in the Employee Record is selected, the changed are applied to all facilities.
If Yes is selected and the user name and password cannot be verified, and error, User Name and Password to not match, displays.
If Yes is selected and the user name and password are verified, but the Update All Users option is unchecked, the error, Employee is not authorized to apply the change to all facilities, displays on the override screen and provides another employee the ability to override.
If the screen is closed or Cancel is selected, the changes are only applied to the current facility.
Edit Compound Template
Added the ability to make changes to the Compound/Additional Information and the following fields on the Compound Template if the Workflow Queue Setup and Control option, Allow Transaction NDC Changes after QA, is selected:

C2 Label Design
Divided the Controlled Substance field in Label Design Overrides on the Facility Record/Additional Information. Class 3-5 remain together under the newly named Class 3-5 field. Added a new drop-down field for C2s, Class 2 Narcotics. This enables pharmacies to print C2s, which may require a different label design and/or printer to be configured separately from C3-5s.
Mark Workflow Complete for Voided Transactions
Enhanced the Transaction Record void process to include a Workflow Status scan that displays when voiding a transaction. Use the scan to view which Workflow Queue the item is in as well as mark items complete if needed. To complete, select the item in the scan and click Mark Complete. Added a new status, Transaction Voided, that displays in the Prescription Status scan under Workflow for voided transactions.
Workflow Information from the Edit Fill List
Added a button, Workflow Information, to the Edit Fill List. If a prescription and the button are selected on the Edit Fill List, a new window, Workflow Additional Information screen displays with the workflow task history.
Delivery Method
Added the Delivery Method, Date Due, and Time Due, to all three New Prescription formats. It will also display on the Filling Options screen if the Store Level Option, Show Options On New/Refill, is selected.
Added an option, Enable Lead Times/Defaults, to Store Level Options/Rx Filling/Delivery Options. Select to access the Edit Lead Times/Defaults link. Click the link to access the Delivery Method and Lead Times table. Enter lead times and delivery method defaults for each type of prescription. If Lead Times and Delivery Method Defaults are set:
The new prescription delivery methods default to the Patient Record Delivery Method, and if blank they default to the store default Delivery Method for the associated prescription type.
The Date and Time Due are calculated based on the Lead Time setting for the associated Delivery Method.
The Delivery Method and Due Date and Time still allow edits and recalculate if the Delivery Method is changed based on the Lead Times of the new Delivery Method selected.
If Enable Lead Time/Defaults is selected, the Delivery Method table in Prescription Processing includes the Lead Times column.
Request Info for Prescriber Record e-Prescriptions
Added a button, Request Info, to the Prescriber Record when accessed from an e-Prescription Rx Summary screen. The button currently exists on the Prescriber Record if accessed from a non-electronic prescription Rx Summary Record.
Pay Type and Pay ID for IPayX Interface
Added the ability to import A/R payments from the IPayX interface to both save and display the pay type and last four digits of the Pay ID in Description 2 of the posting description on the A/R Profile.
Procedure Code on the Rx Summary
Added a field, Procedure Code, to the Rx Summary/Claim Information screen. Default = blank. If there is an entry in the Procedure Code field on the Drug Record, it automatically defaults in this field and is transmitted to the third party via field 459-ER.
Require Room Number for New Patients
Added an option, Require RM# on Patient Record, to the Facility/Additional Information screen. Default = Unchecked. If checked, an asterisk displays next to the Room# field on the Patient Record and identifies it as a mandatory field for new patients.
Preview Profit Margin and ACQ Cost on Rx Summary
Added an option, View Profit Margin/ACQ Cost, to Security Access Flags. Default = Unchecked. If checked, the Acquisition and Profit % continue to display on the Rx Summary/Pricing Information. Uncheck for the values to display.
Security Journals for Price Plans and Price Tables
Added Security Journals, Price Plan and Price Table, to the Security Journals Control Options, along with checkboxes for Log File, Updates, Log New, and All Fields.
Added options, Price Table and Price Plan, to Store Control/Security Access/Security Journals.
Added report options, Price Plan Sec Jour and Price Table Sec Jour, to Custom Reports.
Added a button, Security Journal, to the Price Plan toolbar. Click to access the window, Price Plan Change Journal to view details of any changes made to the Price Plan and specified in the Security Journal Options (Log File, Updates, Log New and All Fields).

State Drug Class for Host/Remote Setup
Added a table to the background of the Drug Record to store all the state class values for all C2-C5 drugs, as well as drugs of concern. When a drug class is assigned to the prescription, the system matches based on the state in which the store is located, and the NDC of the drug. Run the QS/1 Data Updates Client (QDUC) to update the state class for all host and remote sites for the selected drug. The prescription number is classified with the value in the State Class field and is reported to Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP) as that class. The state code displays in parentheses beside the State Class field name. This is pulled from Store Identification of the store signed in.
National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) Hazardous Drugs
Added the ability to clearly distinguish hazardous drugs in the system.
Drug Record
Added three NIOSH Hazardous Drug fields to the Drug Record/Clinical Information screen. The fields are updated with attribute values during weekly clinical updates from First Databank via QDUC and Direct Update depending on which hazardous drug categories it falls.
Added a hazardous drug indicator display next to the Drug Name on the Drug Record for hazardous drugs.
Compound Drug Record
Added a Hazardous Drug column that displays a hazardous drug indicator to the right of the Print PEM for each ingredient that contains a NIOSH indicator on the Drug Record.
Added a hazardous drug indicator to the green header if the compound contains one or more ingredients that have a NIOSH indicator on the Drug Record/Clinical Information. If Hazardous Drug is selected from Edit columns/Select Columns window, an exclamation point displays in the Hazardous Drug column for Compound Drug Scans.
Scan Drugs and Scan Generics
Added Hazardous Drug to the Edit Columns/Select Columns window. Added a column, Hazardous Drugs, to all drug scans for both brand and generic. If Hazardous Drug is selected, an exclamation point displays in the Hazardous Drug column for Scan Drugs/Generic Drugs.
Rx Summary
Added a Hazardous Drug symbol to the left of the Drug that displays for any drug containing a value in one or more of the NIOSH fields on the Drug Record/Clinical Information.
Reports
Added an option, Hazardous Drug, to reports to allow the inclusion of hazardous drugs. Use for instances such as obtaining what hazardous drugs are in stock and those that are dispensed.
Script Management Partners (SMP) Immunization Reporting
Added functionality to the system to ensure that all necessary information is reported to SMP.
Immunization Record
Click here to view changes.
Changed the Save button to Submit. Click to submit as with prior functionality. The button changes to Submit once all required fields are submitted.
Added a Pend button. Click Pend to close the Immunization Record and escape to the Rx Summary. This allows additional data to be entered at a later time. A Tickler Record is created with the description, Vaccine Pending. The record is not marked as ready for submission to SMP.
The following items are marked by a red asterisk to indicate they are required fields: Lot Number, Expiration Date, Manufacturer, Administration Site, Administration Route, and Administered By.
Tickler Record
Added an option, Tickler.Vaccine Pending, to the Tickler File for pended immunizations. To process, select the Immunization Record and click Process.
Store Level Options
Added an option, Pended Vaccines, to Rx Processing/Tickler File Options. Default = Checked. Select to create Tickler Records when vaccines are pended.
