Workflow/Tickler Dashboard Store Selection
Added the ability to view the Workflow and Tickler Dashboards by individual store location, or all stores. Default = All Stores. The system remembers the option chosen after signing out and that option is the default next time that user ID is used.
Class 5 Refills
Added a message option, Class 5 Drug - Cannot Refill (with Display and Allow Fill checkboxes), to Price Plan Messages. Default = Display - Unchecked, Allow Fill - Checked.
Added the message, Class 5 - Cannot Refill, to Price Plan Batch File Updates.
Tall Man Description
Added an option, Tall Man Description, to the Edit Columns/Select Columns window. Default = Unchecked. If selected, the Tall Man Description displays in all drug scans. With this option, the Tall Man Description and Drug Description can both display in the Drug Scans if desired.
RxTran Button for Prescription Formats 1 - 3 for e-Prescriptions
Added an RxTran button to Prescription Formats 1, 2 and, 3. This option is already available for regular prescriptions.
Increased Delivery Tracking Number
Increased the Tracking Number field on the Transaction/Delivery Information screen from 25 to 35 characters. Added to Transaction Batch File Updates as well.
CDT (Current Dental Terminology) Codes
Added a field, CDT Code, to the Rx Summary/Claim Information screen. Default = Blank. Enter up to five alphanumeric characters. The codes are used to note the type of dental service or procedure that was performed. The entry is transmitted during PMP transmissions in field DSP25.
Added a field, CDT Code to prescription formats 1, 2 and 3.
Send in PMP in Batch Record Updates
Added option, Send in PMP, to the Drug Record/Additional Information screen for Batch Record Updates for the Drug File.
ID Required for C2-C5
Added option, ID Required for C2-C5, to Store Level Options/Rx Filling Options. Select to require an ID for controlled substances.
Immunization Record Shingles Option Shingrix
Added a drop-down option, 33 - Zoster (Shingles) (Shingrix), to the Immunization Type drop-down list on the Add Immunization Record screen. Changed the previous label of option 33 from "Other (Immunization Name Field will Print" to 99.
Added option, Zoster (Shingles) (Shingrix), to the Physician Notification of Immunization Form.
Compound Worksheet Use by date
Added a field, Use by, along with date, to the Compound Worksheet. The field pulls from the Compound Drug. If Expiration Days on the Compound Drug/Additional Information is populated, the Use By date is calculated by adding Today + Expiration Days. If Expiration Days is not populated, the Use By date is calculated by adding Today + 90 days. Note: This field displays once the Compound Drug has been linked to a prescription and is viewed from Access Files. It does not display if accessed by the Compound Drug from the search bar.
PMP Reporting for POS Interfaces
Added the ability to request patient ID at pickup for a controlled substance via POS interfaces. The request is included in the RxAdd message sent to the POS vendor. To use, ensure the option, Log Controlled Substance Rxs, in Pharmacy Options/System Options/Electronic Signature Options is selected, along with Require ID selected for any of the class 2 - 5 drug options.
Added PMP reporting fields to the response message from the POS vendor to be store on the Transaction Signature/Customer Pickup Information screen.
QR Code
Added a label literal code, 802, to print a QR code to include NPI, Rx, NDC, drug, strength, refill, dosage text, qty, first four HOA times, and facility.
Hide Drug Name Delivery Sheets
Added an option, Print Drug Name, to Transaction, Fill List and Workflow Delivery Sheet Print Options. Default = YES. If No, the Drug Name does not print on the Delivery Sheet. The verbiage, Redacted for HIPAA, prints in the Drug Name column.
Drug Notes in New Order Entry
Updated the system to display drug notes with level 2 (Override Required) and level 3 (Do not Allow Fill), along with their associated functionality, after the clinical check when a new order is selected.
eRx DAW Codes on Prescription
Updated the system to automatically populate electronic prescriptions with the DAW code from the value in the DRU-050 field from the NewRx message. This will either be 0 (No Product Selection Indicated) or 1 (Substitution Not Allowed by Prescriber). If 0, the DAW code defaults to N0. If 1, the DAW code defaults to Y1.
NewRx Messages and 2017071 Script Standard Option
Added new fields to the eRx file, as well as a new option, 2017071 (New Script) to the Facility/Electronic Rx screen. This option is used to comply with the new NCPDP SCRIPT (ePrescribing) standard. The new fields display in the eRx sidebar (New Electronic Prescription Information window).
New fields in the system:
Added header, NON HUMAN, to the New Electronic Prescription Information window. Note: Option available once 2017071 e-Prescribing goes into effect.
Added field, Rx Effective Date, to the New Electronic Prescription Information window.
Modified the Patient Weight field to accept six characters on the Patient Record and Chart.
Added a drop-down menu with options for lbs and kgs to the Patient Chart. If lbs is chosen, the translation in kgs is posted to the right. Updated the options within Batch Record Updates for the Patient File.
Added an option, 2017071 (New Script), to the Facility/Electronic Rx screen. Default = Unchecked. Can be used for testing. Select if vendor is ready to accept NewScript messages. Outbound messages to the facility are formatted in 2017071 standards.
Added fields, Phone Ext and Email address, to the Facility Record as well as Systems Utilities/Data Updates/Electronic Data Updates/Set Up Facility Options. Default = Blank.
Added a column, Urgent?, to the Mail and Tickler Scans for NewRx, Resupply and CancelRx messages. Note: Option available once 2017071 e-Prescribing goes into effect.
Updated the following for Do Not Fill messages:
H - Hold: Allows Rx to be completed. Fill icon is inactive. Click Profile to allow for a future fill.
Y - Yes: Maintains current functionality. The question Apply to medication list or profile only? displays, while the Profile button is active. The Rx allows filling if a resupply message is received that contains the Rx reference number.
E - Do Not Fill: The generic equivalent scan displays any Rxs that match the GCN of the NewRx drug. Select the Rx and the eRx Record is updated with the Rx number selected. Patient info contained in the NewRx is matched to the patient records in the system. If a match is found for the patient, the generic equivalent screen for the patient for the drug found displays in the NewRx. If there are multiple matches, the patient scan displays for the patient to be selected. The generic equivalent screen then displays.
Added a field, Effective Date, to the Rx Summary screen. If an attempt to fill the Rx before this date, the message, Effective Date of Rx is a future date. Consultation with prescriber is advised. Do you wish to fill?, displays. Field not editable for Rx Origin 3 - Electronic with an eRx attached.
AmerisourceBergen High Value Patient (HVP) File
Updated the system to allow for variable length instead of fixed length for Patient Value files.
Print Drug Materials in Workflow
Added option, Print Drug Materials, to Store Options/Workflow Queue Setup under the sections: New Order Entry, Label & Dispensing, and Quality Assurance. Existing label settings, such as delayed label, still apply. Option can only be turned on for one of the Workflow Queues at a time.
CPESN-USA eCare Plan Authorization
Added authorization flag for CPESN-USA eCare Plan. Customers authorized for CPESN-USA will have a Submit button on the Patient eCare Plan screen to use to submit their eCare plan. Anyone not authorized can still use the Create button to create an eCare Plan. Click Create, View Plan to view previously entered plans.
Date Filled on Delivery Sheets
Changed the verbiage of Print Option Print MRN to Print MRN or DF for Consolidated Workflow Delivery Sheets, Transaction Delivery Sheets, and Fill List Delivery Sheets. Type DF to print the Date Filled instead of the Medical Record Number. The Date Filled is the actual date the Delivery Sheets are printed.
