Created eCare Plan
Added a Patient eCare Plan button to the vertical toolbar of the Patient Chart. Click to access the following Patient eCare Plan screens: Patient Info, Encounter, Interventions, Education, Goals and Outcomes, Care Coordination and Referrals. Information may be entered on these screens to log and track related medical issues for the patient.
Added eCare Plan to the following System Utilities, Master File Maintenance files: Verify, Copy, Clear, Reload, Rebuild and Compress.
Created an Authorization Flag called CCNC eCare Plan. This authorization flag is for pharmacies that participate in Community Care of North Carolina (CCNC). If the authorization flag is set to Yes, the Submit button will be available on the tool bar of the Patient eCare Plan screen. Click Submit to send the eCare Plan information to CCNC.
Created the ability to send Pharmacist eCare Plan to Community Care of North Carolina
Added Workflow Label and Dispensing Print Control Option
Added Print Label for Dispensing Unit Drugs option to Store Control, Store Level Options, Workflow Queue Setup, Label & Dispensing Control Options. The option defaults to unchecked and will only display when the Send to Dispensing Unit when Processed option is checked. The label will print based on the following:
When Send to Dispensing Unit when Processed is checked and Print Label for Dispensing Unit Drugs is unchecked, the system will continue with the current functionality and print the label during Label and Dispensing if the Dispensing Unit field on the Inventory Record of the Drug Record being dispensed is not populated. If the field is populated, the label will not print.
When Send to Dispensing Unit when Processed and Print Label for Dispensing Unit Drugs are both checked, the label will print during Label and Dispensing regardless of whether or not the Dispensing Unit field on the Inventory Record of the Drug Record is populated.
Ability to Add Annotations for NewRx Messages
Added two Security Access Flags, Add eRx Annotation and Edit eRx Annotation, to Store Control, Security Access, Manage Employees, e-Prescription Access.
Added a link, Add eRx Annotation, to the Rx Summary screen. The link displays if the prescription is an e-Prescription and the user has access to Add eRx Annotation. Click the link and the e-Prescription Annotation screen displays to allow the user to add the annotation. When the user clicks Save and returns to the Rx Summary screen, the link now reads View eRx Annotation. All users with access to the Prescription Record will be able to click the link and view the annotation. Edit eRx Annotation access is required to edit the annotation.
If
using the Verify Queue in Workflow, the eRx Annotation can be added in
New Order Entry and be viewed when processed through the Verify Queue.
The
ability to add, edit or view an eRx Annotation is available in the New
Order Entry, Verify, Label and Dispensing and Quality Assurance queues.
Added eRx Annotation Attached - Please view Prescription Record message to eRx side window when an annotation is attached.
Added Print eRx Hardcopy on Full Page option to Store Control, Store Level Options, Rx Filling. The option defaults to unchecked. When the option is unchecked, the New eRx will continue to print in the 4X6 format. When the option is checked, the New eRx will print on plain paper.
Added Functionality to Workflow
Updated the Return to Stock Utility to save the Returned to Stock Date to the Transaction Qty Returned Date field and the Quantity Returned to Stock to the Transaction Quantity Returned field for reporting purposes.
Modified Year-End Procedure Process
Renamed System Utilities, Run Year-End Procedures to Year-End Procedures with two sub-options: Run Year-End Wizard and Run Year-End Manually.
Created a Year-End Procedures Wizard to ease the process of performing year-end procedures and resets.
Added Field to Patient Notes
Added column, Display in POS, to the Patient Notes screen. The default is unchecked.
Added Additional 340B Indicator Fields
Added 340B field to the Additional Information screen of the Patient Record and Prescriber Record. The default is unchecked.
Added fields, 340B and Auto Send 20 Submission Clarification Code, to Store Control, Pricing Options, Price Plans, Parameter Options. The 340B field defaults to unchecked and the Auto Send 20 Submission Clarification Codes field defaults to checked.
Added option, Primary Plan 340B Drug, to Store Control, Pricing Options, Price Plans, Messages. The default for Allow Fill = Y and Display Message = N.
Added 340B field to the Primary, Secondary and Tertiary Transaction Billing screens. The default is unchecked.
Added 340B column to the Patient, Prescriber, Price Plan and Drug Record scans.
Criteria for 340B prescription processing:
The Submission Clarification Code field in the billing section of the 340B enabled Price Plan (primary, secondary or tertiary) will automatically be set to 20 once the system is able to verify that the 340B flag is checked on the Drug Record, Patient Record, Prescriber Record and Price Plan, and the Auto Send 20 Submission Clarification Code is checked on the Price Plan. If the Auto Send 20 Submission Clarification Code is unchecked on the Price Plan, the 340B process will continue, but the Submission Clarification Code will not be set to 20.
Once the system verifies that the Primary Plan 340B message in the Price Plan is set to Allow Fill = Y, the transaction will be created and the 340B field will be checked in the billing section of the 340B enabled Price Plan. If the Primary Plan 340B message is set to Allow Fill = N, the prescription will not be filled and the following message displays: 'Cannot fill this Rx: Check error messages'.
